The Club has recently changed its structure recently which is expected to benefit all members of the Club. We cater for experienced riders who are wanting to compete, whilst we also provide weekly sessions for those that just enjoy riding as a recreational activity. We have male and female equestrian teams who compete in local and national events which includes the BUCS Championships. The club takes part in many events such as Hacks, Cross Country, Drag Hunting, Beach Rides, Carriage Diving and Side Saddle.

The club makes use of the various stables around Durham that are easily reached by bus or car. Lessons are usually on Wednesday afternoons at the Ivesley Equestrian Centre for advanced, intermediate, novice and beginner riders. All lessons are provided at a greatly reduced cost by the centre.
