About:

DUAFC represents Durham's footballing elite. The massive intramural football league system provides the foundation for two men's teams who compete in BUCS leagues on Wednesdays, leaving players free to represent their college each weekend. Furthermore, the BUCS Cup and Futsal competitions - as well as the club's links with local non-league club, chiefly Brandon United - ensure that there is a great deal of competitive football taking place during the first two terms of the academic year. Club players are also able to play for their respective college teams on the weekends due to the dates of university fixtures.

The club are coached by former Durham student Adam Furness, an ex Durham student who now works for the FA and is senior coach at Brandon United.

Club trials are held during Freshers week and pre-season, for those wanting to attend, commences on Monday September 21st. For more information please contact John. The club are particularly interested in hearing from any goalkeepers keen on playing University football as both the first and second team keepers graudated in the summer of 2009.
