DUAFC represents Durham's footballing elite. The first team will compete in the BUCS Northern 1A division in the 2012/13 season – their highest level for several years - after securing back-to-back promotions in 2010/11 and 2011/12. The second team also won their league in 2011/12 and will compete in Northern 3B.

The club is delighted to have former Durham student Adam Furness as head and first-team coach. Adam is a UEFA ‘A’ qualified and licensed coach, and has vast experience in the Northern league as both a player and a manager with Brandon United, Esh Winning, Bishop Auckland and Whitley Bay.

Chris Moore, a professional footballer for the Blue Square Bet Premier side Gateshead FC, coaches the second team.
Exciting times lie ahead for the club, with the first team looking to maintain the unprecedented success of recent years and the second team aiming to continue their development under Chris Moore.

THE CLUB ARE INTERESTED IN ANY FRESHERS WHO CONSIDER THEMSELVES OF A HIGH STANDARD TO CONTACT THEM IN SUMMER. YOU MAY BE ASKED TO JOIN PRE SEASON TRAINING IN MID-SEPTEMBER BEFORE TERM STARTS.
