Durham University Basketball Club is supported by Citibank

Durham University Basketball is going through an exciting phase of rapid development. The University Club is now partnered with the Durham Wildcats, who compete in the BBL (British Basketball League), a link which has transformed the fortunes of both men’s and women’s teams.
Three promotions in three years have resulted in the men now sitting in the BUCS Premier League. In 2011-12, the Men's 1st team were Runners-up in the BUCS Northern Premier League and won the Silver Medal at the BUCS Championship in Sheffield. The women's programme produced a magnificent 2011/12 season, topping the BUCS Premier League and winning the Gold medal at the BUCS Championships.
The second team squad plays in BUCS and has links with clubs playing national and local league, and with a competitive inter collegiate programme, all students, no matter what their standard of play, have an opportunity to play basketball on a regular basis.
