Senior Performance Camp
Started in 2003, the Senior Performance Camp has grown over recent years to become a major regional event. Attracting up to 50 single scullers, the course offers an environment for athletes to improve their sculling over the week and prepare for Autumn season. Some participants will be aiming for GB trials or competing at national events such as the Scullers Head. In addition to water training, the course offers a number of sessions to allow athletes to develop their land-based training. These include:
- Goal setting
- Ergo technique
- Stabiliser strength
-
Olympic lifting
Senior Club Camp
This camp runs for the same week as the Performance Camp. It is aimed at scullers aiming to compete at senior or veteran level who are not interested in joining the Senior Performance Camp. It places more emphasis on water-based training, and offers a more informal level of coaching.
As well as single sculling, it offers opportunities to scull in crew boats, explore the river, and enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere between sessions. All participants must be reasonably competent in a single scull, and able to manage outings up to 90 minutes.

Junior Camp
The Junior Camp was introduced in 2007, following the success of the Senior Performance Camp, that had begun to attract an increasing number of junior scullers from the region. It is a residential course, lasting one week, aimed at junior scullers of 14 -17 years.

- Ergo technique
- Strength and conditioning
- Core strength
- Goal setting
- Flexibility
