Kerry-Anne Hastings selected to represent Scottish Women’s hockey team in capped Canada series

(15 May 2019)

Kerry-Anne Hastings is set to play for Scotland Women tonight against Canada in a five-match capped series at the Glasgow National Hockey Centre on 15th-21st May.

As a post graduate student doing an MA in Education and affiliated to St Aidan’s college, Kerry- Anne is working hard to fulfil both her international and academic duties, whilst also co-ordinating the Durham Hockey Juniors programme and carrying out additional coaching for Durham School.

Transitioning from captaining Scotland U21’s in 2016 and 2017, Kerry-Anne now joins an experienced senior side, full of talent, who will take to the pitch against quality opposition at the Glasgow National Hockey Centre. As the team looks towards the Women’s EuroHockey Championships II and the Hockey Series Finals, these games are crucial as part of the preparation in what will be a big year for Scottish women’s hockey.

We wish Kerry- Anne and the rest of her team the best of luck this week!
