The club offers weekly lessons, at a discounted price, ran at various stables around Durham that can be easily reached by bus or car and cater for all levels from beginner through to advanced. The club also runs many other events such as hacks, beach rides, trips to the races and much more.

The Team consists of a squad of 14 competing in the BUCS league against other Universities throughout the country. They train weekly at Stainsby Grange Equestrian Centre and are taught by international show jumper Pippa Allen and her family. The BUCS competitions consist of a dressage and show jumping phase on an allocated horse, against riders from other Universities. Team trials are usually held near the beginning of Michaelmas term, so keep an eye on our website or check out our social media pages for more information, updates, events and important dates.

Durham Equestrian B Team Win Again!

The B team’s second competition of the season took place on Saturday 4th February as they travelled down to Bishop Burton College in Yorkshire to compete against Hull, Leeds and UCLAN. After four fabulous dressage tests and four awesome clear show jumping rounds the girls were victorious and they also picked up individual 1st, 2nd and 3rd place! Woohoo!
